Daniela Nickerson
Interim Secretary

Daniela Nickerson has been a part of the Methuen Pop Warner organization for the last 3 years. She has 5 children, 3 of whom are athletes in the program. Her passion is driven by her love for her children.
Maintaining a happy, safe, and successful program is Daniela's main goal. It not only benefits her children but yours as well. A program that helps kids build connections and lasting friendships. One that teaches the children in this community how to set goals for themselves and earn them through hard work and determination. A program that teaches children commitment, to be part of a team, to work together, to be responsible, and have fun while learning a sport that they love.
“For me as a mother, playing sports has not only given my kids pure joy but it gives them something to look forward to. My oldest daughter was a D-average student. She always had a passion for football. When she told us she was ready to play full contact, we knew she needed to work on herself as a student. Sports are a big commitment and if she couldn’t prove to us she could commit, focus, and work hard, then she couldn’t play. She turned her grades around and has been an A/B student with High Honors ever since. Her passion alone for this sport gave her the determination she needed."
One of Daniela's favorite parts about being a team mom is seeing some of the children who have been on her team outside of MPW. "They run and jump to give me hugs yelling “Hey Coach Dani!”. The excitement on their faces when they see me lets me know I did something right. I made some type of positive impact on them."
Daniela's children have built relationships with their coaches and teammates over the last 3 years. Their coaches are not just there to teach them a sport. Building positive healthy relationships, being an exemplary role model, and helping her children succeed on and off the field is what coaching is about. That is what a true MPW coach exemplifies.
"Those are just some examples of what MPW has given my family. I am truly grateful for what this program has given my family over the last 3 years and look forward to learning more and giving back, not just to this program, but to this community as well."
I want your children to be proud to be part of this organization the way that I am.”
