Joleen Knox

Treasurer

Joleen and her daughters moved back to Methuen in March of 2017. Her middle daughter Kayla was cheering in Wakefield and wanted to continue doing so when they arrived, so she reached out to the then President of Methuen Pop Warner to find out how to go about signing her up.

"Within the first year at MPW, we found a sense of community here" Joleen stated. That year, Kayla's team placed second in the Nation. Then in 2018, Chloe joined the F-Team cheer and Joleen started to become more involved with the program. By 2019 she was fully invested and wanted to do even more.

Joleen joined the Board of Directors and was appointed by the then President to help take on the Fundraising Director role. Joleen happily accepted and the appointment became official.

All three of Joleen's daughters have been involved with MPW since joining the board.  Cassie helps out at the hut on Sundays when she is not working and throughout the day during cheer competitions!

Outside of MPW, Joleen is a bookkeeper and auditor for a school district year-round & and over the summers she is a pool manager/lifeguard for a private condo pool. Before working for the schools, Joleen was an Aquatics Director for the Y's and has kept all of her certifications current.

"I pride myself on keeping safety a top priority.  I also have an eye for detail when it comes to reconciling things for the schools so I hope to bring that skill to MPW."
